Samsung y Apple anunciaron incrementos en sus ganancias al cerrar el tercer trimestre del año, mientras que Ericsson tuvo una caída de 42% en su beneficio neto. La empresa surcoreana duplicó sus ganancias, gracias a las ventas de los equipos móviles, hasta 6.000 millones de dólares entre julio y septiembre pasado, según datos presentados a las autoridades y que publicó la agencia Yonhap.
Asimismo, Samsung amplió su ventaja sobre la compañía de la manzana en relación a los smartphones (35% frente al 17%) en el tercer trimestre del año, y ellos dos sobre el resto. Mientras que Nokia cayó al sexto puesto de la lista de vendedores de teléfonos inteligentes, informó El País.
Cabe destacar que es la primera vez desde 2009 que una sola empresa supera la barrera del 31% de mercado, como es el caso de Samsung. Las ventas de la firma surcoreana se duplicaron, mientras que las de Apple crecieron un 57%.
Por su parte, la canadiense RIM con sus Blackberry, solo vendió el 4,3% del total, con una reducción del 34% respecto a 2012, en cuarto lugar la china ZTE, con el 4,2% (crecimiento del 83% en un año) y en quinto lugar la taiwanesa HTC, con el 4% (y caída en un año del 42,5%).
Sólo en el tercer trimestre del año se vendieron a nivel global 18 millones de teléfonos Galaxy S3, y 57 millones de teléfonos inteligentes en general.
Apple difundió que en el trimestre que cerró en septiembre vendió 26,9 millones de teléfonos (iPhones) en sus distintas versiones, lo que representó un alza de 58% respecto al mismo período del año anterior.

además me permito agregar que toman en cuenta las ventas del S3 que salió hace varios meses, mientras que el nuevo iPhone (que impulsa las ventas dramáticamente) salió hace poco más de un mes. No nos olvidemos que habla de 18 millones de S3, y Apple vendió 5 millones de iPhone 5 el primer fin de semana.

No existe una “mejor” mina. Cada uno anda con la que puede, o con la que le gusta.
Hay gente que prioriza la experiencia de usuario, hay gente que prioriza la libertad de Android. Hay gente que prefiere la fluidez de apple, hay gente que prefiere la conveniencia en el apartado económico de Android.
Es una cuestión de gustos. La razón por la que se nota tanto la diferencia es porque Samsung es más barato y porque desde que compiten cabeza a Cabeza, Samsung saca el celular unos meses antes, entonces a esta altura le permite mostrar que vendió 18 millones de S3 y con su nuevo producto Apple solo vendió lo que salió desde Septiembre hasta la fecha, más los iPhone 4S que ya son viejos una vez entrado 2012 (es cruel pero es así).
Apple vendió 1/4 de las ventas del S3 el primer fin de semana. A un precio más alto.

Samsung gana simplemente porque tiene mas telefonos en el mercado, en las gamas baja y media principalmente, mercado donde claramente Apple no enfoca, ya que tiene una sola gama de telefono. Si las estadisticas se manejan en virtud del Galaxy S2/S3 y el Iphone 4S/5 seria otra cosa.
Es facil de entender porque si vieron y usaron el samsung galaxy S3, lejos el mejor telefono del momento!, si no tuviera un telefono masomenos moderno (milestone 3) ya estaria pensando en comprarmelo porque me encanto, y el precio es bastante razonable.
